U.S. Custom House

The U.S. Custom House is a historic custom house building located near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The building was built in the early 1900s on the Merchant’s Exchange site, and features an outstanding interpretation of Beaux-Arts architecture. The building served as Baltimore’s Custom House until 1953, and is today used as offices for the Selective Service System.

Many Inner Harbor attractions are nearby the U.S. Custom House, including the National Aquarium, Power Plant Live, Baltimore World Trade Center, Top of the World Observatory, and the 9/11 Memorial of Maryland.
