One Calvert Plaza

1 S Calvert St, Baltimore, MD 21202

One Calvert Plaza, formerly the Continental Trust Company Building, is one of the earliest modern office buildings built in Baltimore. The building was built in 1901, and was then the tallest building in Baltimore until the iconic Bromo-Seltzer Tower was built. Listed among the National Register of Historic Places, One Calvert Plaza is one of the few buildings that survived the 1904 fire that destroyed more than 100 acres in the present downtown financial district.
